UR1650 MASTIC PRODUCT DATA

Tough Stuff UR1650 is a high quality, high solids urethane resins mastic. The UR1650 Mastic is designed to provide a long lasting, trouble free system for the renewal and maintenance of all types of roofs. It can be coated with our Acrylic Urethane AC5900 for longer UV stability.

Drying time is temperature, humidity, and film thickness dependent.

APPLICATION PROCEDURESup.gif

Tough Stuff UR1650 Mastic may be applied by brushing or troweling. FA200 stitchbonded polyester fabric should be used over the first coat of Mastic on large cracks and seams. Apply one more coat of UR1650 Mastic over the polyester fabric after the base coat has set for at least one hour. The roof coating may be applied within one - two hours of application.

Apply UR1650 Mastic only to clean, dry, sound surfaces free of loose particles or other foreign matter. Over metal roof surfaces such as chalking and rust areas CL404 cleaner maybe used.

Do not apply if coating will be subjected to rain or heavy dew before drying.

  • Clean spills and spatters immediately with Xylol or mineral spirits.

  • Clean hands with industrial hand cleaner.

  • After cleaning, flush spray equipment with xylol or mineral spirits.

  • INSTALLERS must read and understand all technical and informational literature for Tough Stuff UR1650 Mastic, including the Material Safety Data Sheets, prior to using this product.
