These nonflammable, low odor, low applied cost waterproofing materials are uniquely designed to withstand the demands of cooling towers, holding tanks and other harsh environments.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES - SYSTEM CT UR2650
Preparation: Sandblasting or mechanical preparation. Prime with PR3400 or PR3600 at recommended coverage.
Prime with one coat of PR3600 bonding primer at approximately 700 square feet/gallon.
Allow 30 minutes to dry or force dry with compressed air. In either case, circulation is necessary to dry the material. Make sure no wet primer is in cracks or crevices,
Finish with three coats of UR2650 at 1.5 gal./sq./coat (unthinned). This will yield approximately 50 mils for a 20 year cycle.
The UR2650 can be applied in back to back fashion. Vertical walls should receive four to five coats at 1 gallon/100 square feet to achieve proper millage.
For longer life cycles, increased millage can be added. Calculate 13 mils nominal at 1 gallon/100 sq. ft.
Material should be thoroughly worked into corners.
Cracks in the pan should have polyester reinforcement with FA206 liner.
Joints that have deteriorated can have UR2650 mixed with D200 to trowel consistency and fabricated into a cant. This mastic can be used for a variety of details or flashings.
All joints shall be reinforced with polyester for extra strength.

WARRANTY
Coatings International Roofing Systems offers warranties from five to fifteen years depending on the system specified when applied by a certified contractor or maintenance personnel that have had training from Coatings International. Warranties can be extended indefinitely by reapplying the system.
